FAQ

Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions

1. Is the champagne dress movable?

Yes, the champagne dress is extremely mobile. Thanks to high-quality, virtually invisible casters that leave no marks on the floor, it can be moved effortlessly from one location to another—transforming it into a mobile champagne bar that enhances any event with style and flexibility. Beautifully crafted hubcaps adorn the wheels, making them a true accessory—perfection down to the last detail.

2. What floor conditions must be present on site for the mobility of the dress?

Rolling is limited on soft or uneven surfaces such as grass. As long as the dress isn't loaded with glasses or canapés, it can be rolled easily on almost any surface, even cobblestones. However, once the dress is fully loaded, it begins to take on a considerable amount of weight, so rolling is recommended on smooth surfaces. In practice, the dress is usually positioned at a location, especially at receptions, where guests will come to collect their drinks. In this case, the wheels primarily serve as a logistical aid, allowing the dress to be discreetly transported to the event and then elegantly removed later.

3. How much space do you need to use the dress?

The dress itself has a diameter of 1.55 m, and it unfolds its full effect when surrounded by sufficient space. Ideally, the room should be designed so that guests can comfortably walk around the dress without feeling cramped. However, if space is limited, the dress can be flexibly adapted: You can easily use just one half of the dress as a minibar – and even in this form, it still looks fantastic. The dress remains a true eye-catcher in every variation.

4. Can you get through doors with the dress?

This is no problem at all. Even during operation, when the dress is completely filled with glasses, bottles, or plate inserts, it can easily be divided into two halves. Each half can then be rolled through a door independently, so even narrow passageways pose no challenge. This maintains the dress's flexibility even in confined spaces.

5. How many glasses or canapés can the dress hold?

The dress is designed to hold up to 113 glasses. The same number also applies to the plate inserts, which can be used for canapés. This generous capacity makes the dress an ideal choice for receptions and catering events where both style and function are required.

6. What kind of glasses go with the dress?

The dress is designed to stylishly accommodate all types of glasses—be it sparkling wine, wine, or Aperol Spritz. Particularly bulbous glasses may not fit in the narrower top row, but even with a few small gaps, the dress remains a beautiful focal point. The plate inserts also easily accommodate other glasses, such as juice glasses or gin and vodka glasses. Thus, the dress offers versatile options for a stylish presentation of various drinks.

7. Which bottles fit in the holders and how many can be placed in them?

Depending on requirements, the number of guests, and the duration of the event, up to 9 or 10 bottles can be integrated into the dress's mobile inserts. The holders are perfectly designed for standard bottle sizes such as wine, sparkling wine, champagne, Aperol, Hugo, or juice. However, there is no space for thicker champagne bottles. This versatility allows the dress to be individually adapted to the requirements of each event, always ensuring a stylish and elegant beverage presentation, ideal for minibar use.

8. Wie ist der Durchmesser der Tellereinsätze für die Canapés?

The inner diameter of a plate insert measures precisely 8 cm, allowing for bowls or decorations placed on it to have a maximum diameter of 7.8 cm. The plate insert always stays in place. For hygiene reasons, we recommend using glass jars or, as with muffins, wrapping decorative paper around the outside. This keeps everything stylish and practical at the same time.

9. Are glasses included in the scope of services?

No, glasses are not included. We provide the champagne dress with bottle inserts, cooling pads, and—upon prior arrangement—plate inserts. For various reasons, glasses are not included in the package. Typically, the venues have sufficient glasses themselves, or the caterers bring them. Alternatively, there are companies that rent glasses. Furthermore, we do not supply drinks or food. Upon request, we would be happy to recommend top-notch caterers or cupcake makers in the area.

10. How is transport and delivery carried out?

Typically, the dress is booked together with a model. I usually personally handle both the transport and the on-site service. Should I be unavailable, I will still arrange transport. Picking up the dress is only possible by prior arrangement, as special precautions must be taken due to the size of the dress and the necessary load securing.

11. Do you have to book a model or can you rent the dress on your own?

It's also possible to rent the dress without a model. The process is straightforward and self-explanatory, so you can easily wear the dress on your own. Should you still need assistance, we're happy to help.

12. How big and heavy is the turntable? What should I consider when using it?

The revolving stage has a diameter of 2x2 meters and weighs between 150 and 170 kg per square meter, depending on the champagne dress configuration. It must be set up before the start of the event, as it is too complex to assemble. The champagne dress, on the other hand, can easily be moved discreetly to the location during ongoing operations.

An important point for the use of the revolving stage is to clarify whether fog or haze can be used, as these could trigger the fire alarm system. Fog is not absolutely necessary for the champagne reception, but it is a nice addition. For the light effects show, however, fog is essential to bring the effects to their best advantage.

The revolving stage requires a power connection to operate the lighting effects, although battery operation is also possible – in this case, an agreement regarding the duration of use and the desired lighting effects is necessary. The revolving stage is mobile and can be moved on smooth, level floors thanks to its removable casters, but it does require sufficient space.
